Halal stocks, rated by our model · week of November 1, 2026

Halal, checked. Then graded, timed, and rated.

Every name here passes the halal screen on a dated check. Our model then grades it on quality, momentum, value and trend against the whole halal universe, and gives one rating in plain words. The reason is always next to the rating.

This week
Wait

1,122 companies pass the halal screen. 89 of them pass our four quality and momentum checks. 24 also sit in an industry the market is rewarding, with a rising 50-day average. None of them clears the last confirmation at a price we would pay today.

2 are stretched, between 19% and 46% above their 50-day average. Buying a stretched name is how a good company becomes a bad trade. The rule waits for the price to come within 10%, so they are listed as Buy on a dip with the level that would do it.

7 are one confirmation short: the independent price forecast we check against is neutral or has not covered the name yet. We do not override it, and we do not publish a name until it clears.

15 are two steps short or have the forecast against them.

Next scheduled event: CPI (Oct) on November 10, 6 sessions away. The list closes to new buys 3 sessions before it and reopens the day after.

When every check and both confirmations clear on the same day, the rating says Buy now, and we mean it. Most weeks a few names qualify; some weeks none do. We publish the Wait as plainly as the Buy, because a list that always has something to buy is a list that has stopped checking.

2 of the 24 names that pass every check are published. The other 22 wait for a confirmation and are not listed until they clear.

How to read it

The rating

  • Buy now every check and both confirmations clear at a price we would pay. Rare by design.
  • Buy on a dip everything clears except the price, which is more than 10% above its 50-day average.
  • Wait checks clear; the outside forecast is not yet in agreement.
  • Watch two steps short, or the forecast is against it.

The grades

Each grade places the company inside the halal universe of 1,122 names. A is the top fifth, E the bottom fifth.

  • Q Quality: margins, returns on capital, balance sheet.
  • M Momentum: price strength over the last year, recent weeks weighted.
  • V Value: price against earnings and cash flow, judged against its own sector.
  • T Trend: rising 50-day average, an industry the market is rewarding, price not stretched.

We publish the grades and the reasons. The weights, the thresholds and the sources behind them are ours.
